TARIAN // Nominated for the Silmo d’Or !
CELEBRATING MATERIALS’ SIMPLICITY AND LOVE FOR UNIQUENESS
It’s summer time, time for holidays and carelessness. The song by the legendary French chanteuse Francoise Hardy, sparked the concept for this Autumn/Winter 2019 season, which kindled a sweet nostalgia and room for creativity.
Jérémy Tarian visited Los Cabos at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. There, buildings with solar architecture that are inspired by the great Luis Barragan, seduced him with their intense colours and graphic lines of the 1990’s. Back in Paris, his new collection – GRAPHIC – he decided to work with sanded steel in volume mixed with acetates and bright tones. His trust in the abundance of strong and contrasting colours is where steel and acetate merge harmoniously. Welcome to MONTMARTRE.
The DOLCE series celebrates colour: bursts of light for a Pop parenthesis, a subtle combination of two-tone acetate for men and women. Welcome to his joyful mess where handmade creations are beautifully imperfect and familiarize with happenstance.
And while (re)discovering the Frenchman’s world, we would also likle to congratulate him for his 2 nominations at this year’s Silmo.
