ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR presents the new campaign MODERN RETRO for the purist design collection WHITE HEAT.

The iconic WHITE HEAT collection stands for a well designed interplay between an acetate nose bridge and a fine metal frame. The symbiosis of these contrasting materials is reflected in the campaign: nature and technology meet in the form of precious stones and televisions. CRT televisions are the symbol for the term “technology”. Compared to other technical devices, they are timeless and have a “raw” touch. As with the design study for WHITE HEAT, the divergence of materials can only be overcome by balanced proportions. The final touch is given to the images with a special effect reminiscent of a disturbing screen.

Gemstones are synonymous with the secrets and mysticism of Mother Earth. It took millions of years and unlikely forces to form these stones. That’s why they are said to have a spiritual and healing effect in their diversity. Gemstones have been on this planet for millions of years. In this collection they act as representative ambassadors of the undisputed beauty and secrets of nature.

The collection is composed of six different models, three of which have the same design concept. On the two models Maillol & Belling, the focus of the characteristic acetate nose bridge shifts to the top line and forms a strong contrast together with the sharp design line. The bulbous cat-eye silhouette Maillol stands for a new beauty image: the strong, modern woman of today. Highlight colours are tone in tone combinations in gold and copper. Brancusi uses the same design language as Maillol and Belling, but the striking crown panto contrasts in colour. For example, a black metal frame meets Havana in black and white.
Kabol and Sabol are classic spectacle shapes, which are given the characteristic WHITE HEAT look with an acetate nose bridge. The targeted use of metal highlights gives the glasses an elegant finish despite the focus on acetate. The oversized butterfly model Smith looks very extravagant at first glance. Due to the well-balanced form language, however, the glasses nestle ideally in the face. The feminine colour selection completes this look.
