Designer, Patty Perreira sets a landscape on the Polynesian islands with names like Hani, which translates to coy and flirtatious in Hawaiian.
Akua, meaning Hawaiian Goddess, innovatively introduces the new concept of a “floating” lens. The Captivant, notably the starlet of the sun collection, highlights Perreira’s ability to create an architectural yet delicate design with its unique use of metalwork on the lens.
Perreira continues her new collection reimagining existing categories, many of which are intentionally curated to come in both sun and optical. Subtle complexity such as intricate filigree in the retro Doyen style and signature metal grill detail embellishments found in the Lenox are a nod to styles from the past.
Perreira’s acetate metal combinations represent an elevated category in the brand’s optical portfolio. Endora’s upswept silhouette, touched with thin shiny gold or silver throughout is sultry and sophisticated. Innovation is showcased in the new Ogden, a super-thin sculpted acetate insert combined with a full metal rim that can only be perfectly executed by the brand’s Japanese artisans.
