Beta-titanium optical frames brightened by rims derived from a colourful nylon lens
Here are two BLACKFIN styles from the New Aura for Fall/Winter 2021-22 collection. Transformed, the New Aura frames are thinner and combine the two technical materials in a functional design that ensures greater stability and simplicity in pressure-mounting the lenses. The result is undeniably pretty on the eye!
The concept of cross-fertilization informs the new Blackfin Aura frames in which the elements merge naturally to produce what Blackfin calls a techno-glamour balance of elegance, light and colour. McDowell has a slightly squared panto shape, while Yates has softer, more rounded lines. The gradient nylon rims seem to blend seamlessly with the titanium ‒ available in a palette of tones from shades of green and blue to silver grey and black gold in the former; and bordeaux red, vibrant blue, brown and amber gold in the latter.
All of the styles in the Blackfin New Aura line are hypoallergenic, 100% bio-compatible, nickel-free and come with tilting nose pads in medical-grade PVC and adjustable, ergonomically designed Swordfish temple tips. The future of Eyewear right there!
