ETNIA BARCELONA and FC Barcelona present a unique collection to celebrate the roots of the two brands. A contemporary capsule collection that blends luxury and craftwork to redefine the rules of the game.

Inspired by the Mediterranean air of the city which brings together art, technology, cultures and nations, the new ETNIA BARCELONA collection celebrates the roots of the Barcelona eyewear brand and those of the world’s most famous football club.

FC Barcelona & ETNIA BARCELONA comprises two product drops that share a common identity and an uncompromisingly unique style. A blend of vintage lines and modern trends goes into each of the 7 extraordinary new models.

The ETNIA BARCELONA & FCB collection is manufactured in materials of the highest quality. Mazzucchelli natural acetate and HD coloured mineral lenses that offer a unique visual experience in terms of colour and quality. In short, all one has come to expect of the brand’s sunglass collections.

ETNIA BARCELONA, as always true not only to its DNA, but also to its bond with the world of art, to Barça, and to its place as a standard bearer for artists, has worked hand in hand with the Dutch painter Pascal Möhlmann, well known for his tributes to the Flemish painter Van Dyck and his work with Virgil Abloh, to create the campaign for this collection.

His style, defined as New Beauty with Punk Rock attitude, turns away from cynicism and irony to seek its inspiration in the history of art and the language of the old masters, bringing it to the present and to our digital era. The result is a look which reflects the feeling and power generated by the fans’ deep bond with the Blaugrana (the colours of FC Barcelona).

The whole collection boasts premium packaging to offer a unique unboxing experience.

The boxes, both bearing the printed campaign image designed by the illustrator Pascal Möhlmann, are finished in materials of the highest quality, such as the gold stamped Fedrigoni paper employed, full of allusions to the heritage of the club.

Inside there is a limited-edition postcard, of the same illustration, and a personalised glasses cleaning cloth.

The case, with its premium finishes, features recyclable black or brown vegan leather as a tribute to traditional leather footballs, and sports the logo devised for the collaboration of the two brands.

Without a doubt, the packaging itself elevates the capsule to the category of a collector’s item, while also furthering the brand’s commitment to respect the environment with its FSC certified paper, produced in a responsible manner, respectful to the environment.
