Gigi Studios offers special launch made up of 18 new Designs renewing the Optical, Sun & Lab collections
GIGI Studios is launching the 2021 Preview Collection, made up of 18 new models. This launch consists of 6 designs from GIGI Studios Optical, 6 from GIGI Studios Sun and 6 from GIGI Studios Lab. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect!
The new designs from Optical & Sun are inspired by the extravagant, oversized shapes from the 1960s and ‘70s. All the twelve models have been completely conceived and created in acetate. Powerful shapes that bring an elegant, avant-garde touch, bursting with personality and character. Among the palette of colours for the new collection, the warm Havana shades stand out, along with the translucent acetates and the metallic trims on the end pieces. In GIGI Studios Optical, retro-inspired models such as the square-shaped SOPHIE or the hexagonal KAIA stand out. Whilst amongst the new developments in SUN, the hexagonal ORCHID and the rectangular-shaped ASH are two stand-out models in this new launch.
GIGI Studios LAB is the collection that brings together technological innovation and cutting edge design. Six models in new designs that are made in beta-titanium, a material that provides the highest resistance combined with the greatest lightness. LIGHTS, ARISE and ELECTRIC are three designs that incorporate delicate Windsor rims in high density acetate, bringing a touch of colour that enhances the contours. DETROIT, ISLAND and ASHLEY (on the right) are three frames produced entirely in beta-titanium, offering new shapes that complete the GIGI Studios LAB collection.
