Experience gathered since 1978 and united with flair and a feeling for zeitgeist – this is how Hoffmann handcrafts spectacles from natural materials. Every pair of glasses is completely made in Germany. From the first brush stroke of the design right through to the finished frame, each step on the way is taken on site in at the beautiful Hoffmann atelier, situated in the fascinating Volcanic Eifel in Germany. Striking, or delicately defined, contemporary, or timeless – with handcrafting artistry and a passion for detail forming the foundation for every one of the models.

At the same time great importance is placed on the use of sustainably sourced natural materials. “Sustainability” is key! Natural materials display a strong character, and make every frame unique as every horn is different. The conscious working of each material by hand always creates a unique frame of unmatched quality.

The Hoffmann look is defined by naturalness and understatement. The emphasis lies on clear design instead of branding – logos on the exterior of the frame are deliberately omitted. The frame authentically underlines the wearer‘s style, without drawing the focus towards a logo. The motto is “understatement as a statement“. The Hoffmann look is characterised by natural materials and understatement. The focus is on clear design instead of exposed brand logos, which are deliberately omitted. Divided into 3 main collections – the S-Line, the Ti-Line and the V-Line – each line sees some exciting additions from season to season.
