When ic! berlin tells you to take the red pell, would you? In a clear reference to the science fiction film ‘Matrix’ released in 1999 – ic! berlin puts you in the shoes of Neo and let you decide, which reality you would prefer. In case of the German label, the red pill comes in shape of a new experimental sunglass with futuristic looking double front hangs suspended on a second plane just millimetres from the lenses. It’s available in 2 different colors (chrome and black). We don’t know for sure what happens, when you take the red pill nor when you put on ic! berlin’s new glasses. Does it really bend the laws of optics, physics, fashion and the space-time continuum? Does it really let us see the true nature of reality? Well, let’s give it a shot!
