This collection marks the second release since the brand’s acquisition by the esteemed Modo Group in September 2023. Guided by the progressive vision of Modo and the eclectic creativity of ITALIA INDEPENDENT’s iconic Creative Director, Lapo Elkann, the FW24 lineup is a masterclass in blending timeless sophistication with on-trend innovation. Featuring a diverse range of thirteen sunglasses and sixteen optical styles, the collection explores the synergy between classic design and cutting-edge techniques. The result is a portfolio of 108 variants crafted from two premium materials: acetate and stainless steel.
Acetate is given a modern twist through intricate detailing and a play on textures. The collection boasts both classic variants and a palette of chic transparent shades, elevated by two unique color themes: The metallic-effect finish is inspired by the sleek aesthetics of ’90s racing yachts, these frames are available in a spectrum of vibrant colors. The camouflage family is a nod to the brand’s iconic styles, these frames range from expressive green hues to more subdued browns and dark purples. The collection also debuts a handcrafted metal core in the temples, meticulously engraved with ITALIA INDEPENDENT’s logo – a hidden detail that adds an extra layer of refinement.
