The first collection under the new license agreement with Cutler and Gross, features a combination of metal and acetate frames in classic shapes and with subtle design details that tie in with Paul Smith colours and tailoring.
Each of the new styles adopts a name from a London Street, starting for the initial collection at the beginning the alphabet. Every frame is carefully crafted using high-end materials such as specially developed acetates from Italy as well as over 20 different lenses from Dalloz in France to give choice and depth to the sunglass collection.
Fans and followers of the brand have come to love the use of colour in Paul Smith’s design work, whether it be for clothes or accessories. This Eyewear collection just seems to be the logical continuation of something long overdue. To be continued…
