With »Mondo Premium Retro Bold« and »Jolly Premium Retro Bold«, KADOR expands its Premium Collection with two new interpretations of longstanding bestsellers. Drawing on the original »Mondo« and Jolly, the models retain the distinctive character of their predecessors while giving their familiar silhouettes a stronger, more contemporary presence.
The new »Mondo« is defined by its charismatic round shape, while the »Jolly« takes inspiration from the elegant eyewear of the 1950s with its balanced proportions. For their Premium update, both models receive more sculptural volumes and carefully refined details. Bold acetate fronts are softened by gentle bevels that run across the frame, creating an interplay of light and shadow that adds depth while keeping the generous construction visually light.
The attention to detail continues across the temples. Flowing, ergonomic lines are paired with KADOR’s signature eight-point star rivets, which appear on the front and temples and have become a recognisable element of the Premium Collection. Exposed metal cores add another layer of detail, featuring linear engravings and KADOR’s characteristic sequence of engraved K motifs.
Made from premium acetate and finished using a combination of skilled handcraft and advanced manufacturing techniques, both models reflect KADOR’s approach to contemporary eyewear: taking established designs as a starting point and giving them new depth through material, construction and precise detailing.
