Club Cobalto was founded on April 28, 1949 in Barcelona by a group of artists determined to spread the most advanced art of the moment. They organized Joan Miró’s first major exhibition, after his stay in Paris, jazz sessions, contemporary music concerts, dance and readings, always introducing the avant-garde of the moment.
Kaleos pays tribute to the collective by naming the new collection SS2019 after the name of this group of artists who knew how to see beyond borders, the establishment and their time. The result is this ultra cool retro shooting portraying the news shades using props straight out of the 70s and bold colours just as the collection itself.
