With Lamina, Italian eyewear brand LOOK rethinks the classic metal frame through a lightweight, contemporary construction designed for everyday wear. The collection combines technical materials with clean shapes and a focus on comfort, creating a design language that feels precise without appearing overly technical.
At the core of Lamina is a shared construction for both the men’s and women’s styles. The front is made from Xinox, LOOK’s ultra-lightweight high-tech steel, which allows for particularly slim profiles while providing flexibility and stability. A screwless connection joins the Xinox front directly with temples made from NIL (Natural Injection Light), a lightweight and flexible material. By reducing the construction to these essential elements, the technical solution becomes a subtle part of the design itself.
From this common foundation, Lamina develops two distinct directions. The men’s models combine streamlined silhouettes with an urban, athleisure-inspired character, playing with matte and polished surfaces as well as understated colour contrasts. The women’s styles take a softer approach, with slender profiles, delicate contrasts and fresh colour combinations that add a feminine touch without becoming conventional.
