A frame, two lenses, screws and rims – put together in many little working steps.

Lunettes Kollektion and Capara put an end to this ordinary understanding of eyewear. The collaboration, born in Berlin & Antwerpen pushes boundaries and deconstructs eyewear to create something new. Something with an edgy and futuristic appeal. For their new sunglasses collection, eyewear is reduced to its essentials. The resulting minimalistic design is deconstructionist in concept – created by 3-D printing and artistic craftsmanship.

Coming from the perspective of fashion designers rather than that of classic eyewear design, they were able to conceptualize a completely deconstructed pair of sunglasses that re ects only its purest elements – frame, lens, and connector. – Uta Geyer
