MODO is driven by a passion for finding the optimal balance of form and function. Thus, the Italians explore materials, manufacturing technologies, and craftsmanship techniques for designs that look and feel perfect.

Their Paper-Thin Titanium frames are made with 0.6mm thick Beta Titanium 153, and combine the lightness and strength of Titanium with the utmost flexibility.

MODO’s R 1000 + Titanium collection merges form and function in an innovative frame that looks and feels perfect. R 1000 + Titanium is a combination of Resin 1000, a super-light and super-flexible memory plastic, and our Beta Titani- um 153 – the frames are resilient and will always return to their original shape; all bound together by an innovative screwless hinge. R 1000’s exceptional strength and flexibility is revolutionizing aeronautic, scientific, and technological process- es, and MODO’s drive for designs crafted with purpose and technical precision makes this collection a fitting addition.

For the Spring/Summer 18 season, MODO is launching two new optical shapes – new for this season are matte-finished titanium temples on selected colors. The first design, 7012, is a pilot-inspired shape (image above), with a detached bridge and a R 1000 top brow bar. This frame can be worn in four colors, including teal with dark green titanium temples, classic black, and a new matte white front with matte white titanium temples. The unisex pantos 7013 features shades like matte honey with light gun temples and matte green tortoise with black titanium temples, in addition to matte burgundy and dark brown options.
