Oldies, but Goldies

Old people exude a certain kind of magic, such as these honest signs of aging on their faces. As a photographer, there’s no need for any kind of lighting trickery to add excitement and atmosphere to a shot. Just a pure, simple image, and the faces of Etjes and Kalle tell a story of their own, letting viewers get a glimpse of what life experiences may linger behind the graceful faces. And it took me until much later to realize that Etje and Kalle actually look like Santa Claus and his wife.
