Today, we’ll take a closer look at their new designs for spring/summer 2017. A: We’ve got FLEYE’s new Signature Collection, which consists out of 25 brand-new eyewear designs. This collection is solely design-driven and more daring and bold than ever before. Every single piece has certain characteristics, that turn it into a signature style. “The aim is to create image glasses that have a strong designation when it comes to individual style, urban attitude, and fashion forwardness,” points out Annette Esto, Head of the FLEYE Copenhagen design department. You’ll find sunglasses and optical frames in the Signature Collection, as well as some new design elements like a base-2-flat look and an easily addable or removable nose pad. The collection will not be limited to S/S 2017 only, but will be an ongoing collection that will offer new styles every season.
Let’s talk about B now – FLEYE got a little inspired by Modern Bauhaus. Well, some of us already know, how inspiring it can be, to shop for furniture and little things, that brighten up your home interior. FLEYE certainly does know. The brand explored all kind of things including color and texture to get inspired for their temporary SS17 eyewear collection, which matches sleek lines with different materials and textures while layering heavy, deep, and rich colors such as Burgundy Brown or Midnight Blue with light and transparent shades. FLEYE also combines deep, solid colors with matte colors, in order to create a dusty and minimalistic look.
