SUNGLASSES COLLAB // ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR x pinqponq
ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR and the bag label pinqponq join forces for one of the coolest Sunglasses Collabs in a long time
The result is two new shadies that come as a set with a specially developed bag. The eyewear peeps behind Austrian brand Andy Wolf — Andreas Pirkheim and Wolfgang Scheucher—have teamed up with Cologne-based accessory brand pinqponq to create two new sunnies in a more sport-orientated style. Introducing two new styles — pinq and ponq, obviously — the collaboration is inspired by the traditional sport aesthetic and elevates it to a high fashion accessory with a streamlined structure and great attention to detail.
This collab seems long overdue since both brands share a multitude of common values: they stand for unique product design, great standards in terms of quality and design and are both environment-friendly in all their production decisions.
For the first time, ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR has developed two sunglasses in the sporty Shield Style: the two models pinq and ponq are deeply inspired by the sports glasses of the 90s and have a graphic element milled from metal on which the curved lens is placed. The set is complemented by the pinqponq bag Boks. The cross over bag consists of three components: one bag for the glasses, one for personal belongings and a matching belt. They can be worn together or individually. The sets come in the colors Tonal Khaki and Polished Black with the matching glasses color.
The joint collaboration is one of the best we’ve seen all summer as it shows an innovative, multifunctional design for both the Shades and the Boks bag that comes with it.
The set with one pair of glasses and the bag Boks is available as of now at selected opticians and via pinqponq.com.
