On 12 July at 5 p.m. the exhibition will open in the Futuro Haus next to the Pinakothek der Moderne. Afterwards there will be a talk about “CAZAL & Counterculture” in the Amerikahaus. Guests are Johan Kugelberg, lecturer and archivist at Cornell University in New York, DJ Supreme, CAZAL Afficionado from Seattle and Harald Böttcher, former owner and managing director of CAZAL and son of the company founder. The event will be hosted by exhibition curator Sven Christ.
As part of the Kunstarealfest, a block party will take place on Sunday, 14 July, as it was celebrated in the Bronx in the early 80s.
