It’s about passion, family, love and new adventures. He works in sales and marketing for L’Oreal until he reconnects with his inherited passion for eyewear. She works as a graphic designer in a London design agency. Afters years of narrowly missing each other, boy finally meets girl in 1992. You might call it love at first sight. And even more – he sparks off her passion for eyewear. Shortly afterwards, she quits her job and both decided to launch their first optical company together. One year later, they even went one better and got married.
25 years later, Karen and Jason and can look back at great achievements like the Silmo D’Or Award in 2003 and the London Design Award. Their acrylic frames have been seen in many famous faces from Stevie Wonder, Oasis, U2 and Julia Roberts. Even in 25 years, both have not lost their smile nor their wit nor their affection for eyewear. To celebrate their anniversary, they will launch a new collection called ‘Quartz’ that will enchant with glitter and sparkle.
